I'm going to be off for a bit. I'll still be updating LJ, working on various projects, but I think I'm going to avoid mIRC, my friends list and the message boards like the plague for the next couple of weeks. Frankly, I'm getting irritated about the entire fanfic community at large, which is a sure sign that I need to spend some time away from the general community for a while.

Or Bolt-3 all you mutha-fuggas!

hope it's not permanent, hombre. Myself, I've been off of mIRC by necessity for a month, so I've no idea what's going on. Maybe it's better that way.

Ouch. I hate to hear of your ire so close to your excursion into our fair State for the purported purpose of a fanfic gathering. With that being said, we're really looking forward to seeing you down here in a couple of weeks. The guest list is remarkably (some with low self esteem would say pitiably) intimate- only about 8-10 folks. Even so, those coming are particularly interesting people, so we're gonna have a great time.

If it makes you feel any better, I got the song "Hello, Sailor" in my head yesterday for HOURS. It particularly sucked because I could only remember the first stanza and the "Hello, Helllllloooooo, Sailloooooorrrrr!" ending.

You got to do what you got to do.
Just aslong as you keep the bridges up if you want them up.

Then again everybody needs to get away on their own after spending countless hours with the same people.
