Just an update/warning.

New Year's is fast approaching, and I have a horde of people descending on my poor unsuspecting city. Only trouble is that I no longer know who is coming. The short confirmed list is Frito, Redhawk, Pebblin, Rossi, Doqz, JB McDragon, Domenika, AliMac, DocBenway, WGSarah and Gerg. Potentials include Matt Nute, IndianaJ, Tapestry, Lise, Heatherly, Ramiel, and Jazz. If you have been working on coming and you have a slightly better idea, please e-mail me or post here. If this is the first you've heard and you'd like to come, e-mail me. I still have room for a couple more people, although I won't promise anything.

What's going on? Just a party. Basically a bunch of people coming up to hang out for a few days. If you want to come, try to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. I have room at my house, although you'll likely be on a mattress on the floor. If you want to come a few days early or stay a few days late, that's cool too. The only rule is that Dex does not pay for his own beer. Very important to remember.

In my apartment, I've got computer access, a DVD player and a VCR, and Nute is planning to bring his X-Box. Expect a lot of sitting around, drinking, talking, watching cool shows (Firefly DVD anyone?) and relaxing. I've had a very stressful year, so this is my vacation.

So, update me or e-mail me at dexf@sympatico.ca. If you have flights and the like, send that information along. I'll try to arrange airport pickups. If you're coming in via bus, train or car, I'll give you transit and parking information.

I sent you flight info for Redhawk and myself - we're also, as long as you're cool, bringing up the air mattress and some blankets. :) And earplugs.

Do you have a Playstation 2? (If not, I think we may try to bring ours, or send it up with the Nutester.)

I think we may also bring the CSI DVD's, and possibly the Babylon 5 if I can convince Redhawk to remove it from the Altar and stop trying to get it to achieve dietyhood.

IJ and I are driving up, it'll be a definite. I can bring my X-Box - and I even picked up a copy of X-Men: Next Dimension... but it doesn't work. Will try and acquire one before the trip.

I've also got the X-2 DVD if you don't have it yet. The added scenes are fun.

I can't make it -- I just can't afford a ticket. :/ I might be ending up in Milwaukee with Shai and Lyss, though (and no, I'm not sure how that one happened either).

As much as I would love to, I have to be in Florida doing obligatory and painful family things. If you hear of news reports of riots and mass insanity in Tampa...pretend you know nothing. It'll help my court case.

Like Matt said, we are coming up (driving up starting around 1 on the 30th), staying until Saturday probably.

I'll be snagging my dad's ubercomfy sleeping bag and...hey, I'm warm, I don't think many people attending this thing will be adverse to a snugglemonkey.

I know Frito's stashing DVD's in my car for us to bring up.
