Volume Three boggles me. The internet of douchebaggery has degenerated to the point where men who think short haircuts are direct attacks on their balls are able to get noticed by the rest of the world.

I wonder if the dudes who like short hair (i.e. me) not are polite enough not to talk about it, or are they too busy maintaining their "Fuck Yeah Short Hair" tumblrs to realize there's a controversy?

Even with the women I know for whom fashion and politics are one, their primary motivation for haircuts is "will this look good on me" and "does this fit my image". It's not "How will this hair impact the boners of men?" unless someone is specifically doing it to ward off harassment.

This really angers me. Dudes acting proprietary over the birth cycle is bad enough, but hair? Really? Goddamn hair?

I just get lost in the sheer mindlessness of the statements. I mean, are they seriously suggesting that Audrey Hepburn was masculine, unattractive and anti-male?

Personally, I like attractive women. Some women rock short hair like nothing else, others are just perfect for really long hair, etc etc. The fact that anyone thinks that there's a philosophy of haircuts lurking out there shows just how paranoid the misandry screamers have gotten.

I, for one, will welcome the octopus empire. I think it's kind of sad about Shakespeare and Mozart but then I read the comments and feel okay about humanity's collective rush to suicide.

I'm pretty sure the octopodes will manage to archive humanity's best works. I mean, can you even imagine how brilliant Mozart will be when played by an orchestra where each member has 8 arms?
