...now can someone please explain what it means?

the whitlams are love

As far as I can figure, love is muddy green and looks like a stack of Lifesavers. The Whitlams seem to be involved too, but, well, that's kind of to be expected.

So, I've got this bittorrent thing downloaded. For those of you not aware, bittorrent is a P2P style program that uploads files from multiple users (seeds, I believe is the term) simultaniously. It's becoming very popular, because of the open platform and viral operating. Now, here's the crunch.

I don't have the slightest clue about it.

What I do have is an LJ which, between artists and perverts, also includes techgeeks and content pirates of all shapes and sizes. (It also has one sad Russian mouth-breather who froths and touches himself while watching CNN, but that's another story.)

That being said, time to pass along the advice. How the frickin' hell does this thing work, and what am I doing wrong. I've been able to pull down a few albums to test it, but any larger file (over about 100mgs) not only craps out, but comes up with a failed message indicating the computer sees multiple versions already downloaded erronously. Any idea why this is happening?

Second question: how secure is this program, and am I downloading a vast level of spyware at the same time? Or streaming viruses of all shapes and sizes?

Lastly, where are the best places to pick up seeds, and what utilities are best to optimize the program?
