The Invisibles have eaten my brain in one wet chrunch. Still, this frickin' story is almost done and I can get back to my delayed RAZOR beta. Damn creative itch, I tell you. It's worse than athlete's foot.

If you get it twice, is it termed Athlete's Feet? Never mind...

So, it looks like I will be packing my ass down to Savannah. I still have a flight vocher from my debacle on returning from Sydney, which covers the whole ticket. As long as I can scare up a couple hundred extra for the exchange rate(slightly but not wholly unlike getting a knife punched into your naval) to avoid having to dance for my drinks, I shall be there. QueenB, I'll be in touch about details and those types of things...

So, what is the plan for Savannah? I heard 'Haunted Pub Crawl the day after Halloween' noises in the planning stage. I'm just trying to figure out what to bring, and how to make it fit in carry-on. I am NOT waiting to have luggage process. Lawdy, you people must be free of de airport!

Otherwise, life continues apace. I am rereading 'Lord of the Rings' at the insistance of numerous fans. That and the fact that Chapters is almost giving away copies with each purchase made it a good choice. No great changes in opinion yet, and Tom is still one of the most annoying characters in literature. Still, doing my best to try and be fair on it. I think Tolkien was secretly a frustrated and failed rock lyricist.

Rereading lots of poetry. I've noticed a pretty sharp decrease in my writing precision recently, and need to rectify that immediately. The best way, of course, is to get into poetry. Eight lines to encapslate all of the ideas you want to convay. It sort of forces you to considering each work long and hard before placing it. Have to see what happens.
