Been A While
Aug. 1st, 2011 03:32 amI know it's been a bit since I posted. I could talk about the recent debt ceiling deal in the US, or the great trades of the Jays GM in the last couple of weeks. Or I could talk about the balls up for LJ.
But, really, I'm kind of tired.
What I would like to say is that I'm at a weird time. I'm unemployed without a good reason to have been made so. For the first time in 13 years, the world isn't limping into my city to drink and talk comic books. I have a lot of things going on, including a couple of apologies and requests to talk I didn't expect and I find myself trying to figure out not how to survive tomorrow, but instead, what do I want tomorrow to bring.
This is the year of transition and decision, my friends. To figure out what being 40 and 50 and the rest of my life is going to mean. Welcome to the inner gates and the hard questions.
