The World's Worst Activist
Jun. 27th, 2010 03:06 amI want to see the flags unfurled and the marches happen. I want to see every moronic third year neo-socialist walk down Yonge street with your freak banner waving high. I want to see every lunatic fringe walk into town and say that 'this shit isn't right' and shame people into real solution.
What I see is white kids in black masks set shit on fire and break windows. I really want to police to beat the shit out of them. Because they are stupid. They don't care. The revolt for the sake of revolution, and don't care who they hurt. Fuck them. This is my city, and the culture they claim to care about; the Carrib economies, the Latin-American states, the Asian rim; they are making their anger felt on the people who will ultimately pay for it.
Well done to smash that Starbucks. The person making $10 an hour will understand while his job is shut for a week. The restaurant that you shut down for the 'common people' means that the dishwasher loses his job. Your bail and student loans are paid for, but it's the Trinidad community that has one less cop car on the drug watch against an entrenched drug culture. Your purity hurts my neighbourhood. You are doing a great job making it about us versus them.
This is not my Toronto.
