I have about 9000 logs to write, but I figure I should make an update or two, since you all hang on my every moment of existance as a way to provide meaning to your own. It's all right, I understand completely.

There have been positives, at the end of a short but highly compressed time of stress. To update everyone, since losing my job, I've been hanging on whether or not I will receive employment insurance, which in laymans terms is money from the government out of a fund we pay into while working, which provides us means to look for work in our field, instead of grabbing the first job that opens up at McDonalds to make rent. Mine has been in review since the beginning of April, and just this week cleared through as approved, meaning that I have ten months in which to find a real job. This is a very good thing.

Because of the stress I've been bouncing back and forth on a dozen different things, and now am starting to feel my ability to get back into a schedule and back to work on anything other than suicidual deadlines. Again, also positives.

In X-Project, the online RPG I slavishly devote myself to, I have solved three other people's requests for help on plots, earning the title of 'plotmaster'. Odd as it may sound, it's been a while since people have asked for my help and then actually complimented me when receiving it. It was a positive boost.

My short and wholly terrifying bout of stress induced writers block as disappeared. For anyone who's ever heard me speak about writers block, you will know I refer to it in the most dismissive fashion possible. A writer writes, and I went through the journalist tradition, which quietly informs you that if you're blocked, they understand and want you to get passed it, and if you don't have those seven inches done by three o'clock, they'd like you to find a new job. So, stress induced writers block didn't stop me from writing, but for a ten day period, I literally could not find a single sentance worth keeping. That was an entirely new experience, and not one I care to repeat.

I think that's it for sharing time today. Ellis has seal raping up on his feed. Go enjoy.
