Even though it's two months away, might as well get some feelers out.

I'm told that I'll be having my New Year's party again this year. You know, the one where I get drunk and spill sangria on people's socks, 17 people crowd into my tiny apartment, and the sleeping arrangements are decided by random chance and booze.

So, if that's your thing, let me know if you are planning to attend so I can gauge numbers. We now have CynJen and Aisy's place to stuff the overflow. As well, let me know roughly when and how long you were planning to stay.

Metal Gear Stupid

Cardboard box served as disguise in spate of burglaries at fast-food outlets.

It's alleged that one or more of the accused, usually disguised with balaclavas, would first park an empty box directly in front of the business's glass front entrance.

Then, one of them would climb inside the box, open the cardboard flap facing the restaurant door and go to work, removing the glass with specialized burglary tools and disabling the alarm.

From the street, all that was visible was a box that looked like a delivery.



Obviously they forgot that when the question mark appears above the head of a person, your disguise has been spotted.
