Brouhahas....

Ah, yet another flamewar and such. The smell of scorched cortex in the morning. However, I have nothing to say about the most recent barrage of sexually obsessed insults, mostly because I don't care. What I'd rather talk about are some amazing people that are making their return. Listen up, because these bastards are the real thing, kids.

First, queenB. She's been hinting on new fanfiction ideas for a while. Not only is she one of the best writers to hit fanfiction, bar none, but she's also a damn cool chick. Maybe not chick. Maybe broad. Yeah, I like that better. queenB is a damn cool broad, with poetry that can flay the inside off a rhino and a lyric prose famous for capturing hearts and minds. Her seemingly effortless work hides layer on layer of complex meaning and allusion, all woven into moving tracts. I hear she's got ideas for new fanfiction, for the first time in a while. I'm very excited.

Second, Ramiel. All right, I admit that his departure after those photos of him, the goat and both of Bush's daughters was abrupt, but we can certainly forgive a man with his much talent and weird devient bastardry crawling around in his head. With the mind roaches. Fear his roaches. But he's back, and after injecting the slow poison into his tear ducts, he will be forced to write. Send him your threats for more fics, more death, more goat sex, more Jesus and his 9's!

Lastly, Phil Foster. All right, I'm bias. He's family. But he's one of the best short fiction writers in fanfiction today, and I can hear the Vertigo broiling inside him from across the globe. That and I have Rossi to attend to the brainwashing on a regular basis. He's coming back, he's got ideas, and they smoke Silk Cuts and wear vomit encrusted trenchcoats.

Lyric poetry, Silk Cuts and goat fucking. Thus are my thoughts on the new return

I think that in the time it takes Rossi and Phil to drive from Brisbane to Melbourne, she will have sufficiently badgered him long enough to start writing Vertigo fic. She's very good. Kudos to you for suggesting the brainwashing.

Oh, and if Phil's reading this, I have you to blame for inserting the phrase, "soonish after the football" in my head, don't I?

I thought you wern't going to mention the Bush girls again? Jesus, man. It's bad enough with Geedub breathing down my neck, wanting videos. And fic? Bah, I haven't written fic in years. Why should I start now?

And errr.... does anyone remember Comcast's (from Deadpool, Gambit, and mid-90's X-Men) real name? Just curious.

And did you know they no longer import Silk Cuts into the US? Bastards.

I'm back too

and as of....about 10 minutes ago I decided to delurk. not quite sure why, but I think it had to do with my friend asking me about slash fanfic (the fact she knew what fanfic was shocked me, slash...practically had a heart attack in philosophy class!) and then me ranting about the new Dyce fic and remembering all the good fics on my hard drive....anyways, I'm back!

Although we kinda didn't go away very far, Diamonde and I are back too. If there isn't fic from us before new years, AusCon didn't do its job.

Also, I have plans to con - er - convince Benway to join in a RR, and talking to Rossi and Phil about Subreality and Amanda about fic, and Andraste about holiday and guh.

So. Yes. Plus, we (Phil, Rossi and I) phoned your place and only missed you by 7 hours, so, hey. Not doing too badly. We may all have fucked up our voices, but we figure it makes us sound dead sexy.

Uh. This was gonna make sense, but. No. Um
